Cooking For Your Woman

Looking for another way to show your wife or girlfriend how much you love her? Gifts and flowers are great but there is always something extra special about sitting her down to a romantic dinner that you made just for her. Read on to learn more about setting the stage for a romantic meal and how to cook up a dinner for two using a simple chicken parmesan recipe to share with your special girl.

A Romantic Dinner for Two

Whether you’re an experienced cook or clueless in the kitchen you can follow this simple recipe for a delicious chicken parmesan dinner for two.

(1) Pound two boneless skinless chicken breasts with a kitchen mallet until they are approximately ½” thick. (2) Combine 1 cup of bread crumbs with 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese and ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper. (3) Beat 1 egg in a dish and dip each chicken breast in the egg and then in the bread crumb mixture. (4) Repeat step 3 to better coat the chicken. (4) Bake in a greased pan at 350°F for 35 minutes. (5) Top chicken breasts with 3/4 cup of your favorite spaghetti sauce combined with 1 can (12-15 oz) of crushed tomatoes. (6) Sprinkle ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese on top and place back in the oven until cheese is melted and chicken has an internal temperature of at least 165°F. (7) Place 1 chicken breast with sauce on top of a plate of spaghetti cooked al dente.

Setting the Mood

Make mealtime enjoyable by picking up fresh flowers for her, seat her at the table that you’ve already set, and enjoy time alone with quiet music playing in the background. Don’t leave her with a mess to clean up after you eat either. Help clean up and wash the dishes or do it all by yourself so she can enjoy a little more rest and take a break from housework.

Cooking for Her and With Her

Why not start cooking for your woman on a regular basis and take some of the responsibility off of her shoulders so she can take a break? Plus, by cooking in the kitchen you can make more choices about what you’re eating for dinner. If you’re not in the mood for tuna casserole then you can throw some steaks on the grill or pop a frozen pizza in the oven. Share the load and cook a little more for her.

Cooking doesn’t have to be a solo act either. Try cooking together for a fun and romantic evening. Plan a meal together and work together to make a great meal. It will stimulate good communication between the two of you and give you an opportunity to spend quality time together.

No matter how your food turns out, you’re going to be a winner in her book because you put her first and made her feel special. Put in that extra effort and you’ll have a stronger relationship and she’ll be happier!
